USE : Chain saw file or “chain round”. Round for sharpening chainsaw chain gouges. MANUFACTURING QUALITY 30 years ago, the MOB Group acquired TALABOT, Europe's leading manufacturer of files and rasps. TALABOT's files are characterized by a long cutting life thanks to the high carbon content of the steel (1.3 to 1.4%). It is alloyed with chromium to obtain a powerful bite. MOB checks the chemical composition of its steels every time they are cast. Perfect mastery of hardening, a vital operation for cutting quality, guarantees file hardnesses of 65±2 HRC. Single cut, unlike mechanical files which have a double cut. Type 2 semi-soft single cut.
